I have found myself repeatedly recommending the following books to people. So I thought I will put them all in one place so that it can be easily referenced and shared with whomever is interested.

I am a big believer in the power of books as a way to inspire & influence change and open up self generating “clicks” useful for a more productive & blissful life. Pour Your Heart into it (Howard Schultz) – a nice book about how the Starbucks company was built one cup of coffee at a time!
Business Stripped Bare – adventures of a global entrepreneur (Sir Richard Branson)

Productivity

Seven Habits of Highly Effective People (Stephen Covey) – a must read on every productivity book series
How to Win Friends and Influence People  (Dale Carnegie)

The Goal: A process of ongoing improvement (Eliyahu M. Goldratt and Jeff Cox) – This book was recommended by my operations management professor when I was way back in business school. It is one of those books that you start reading and cant put down till the end. Gripping content that shakes up your views on productivity.

Finance & Investing

How Buffett does it (James Pardoe) – the book outlines 24 value investing strategies of Warren Buffett. One of my personal favorites!
The Intelligent Investor (Benjamin Graham) – a MUST READ for every investor in any kind of market
The New Buffetology (Mary Buffett & David Clarke)
The DHANDHO investor (Mohnish Pabrai) – I personally have gifted this book to many friends.

Strategy

Blue Ocean Strategy (W. Chan Kim & Renee Mauborgne) – this book literally opened up several insights for me

Leadership

Leadership in the era of economic uncertainty – the new rules for getting the right things done in difficult time (Ram Charan)
Leadership wisdom from the monk who sold his ferrari (Robin S. Sharma) – I found this to have a very easy and compelling read.

Happiness

Guaranteed Solutions (Nithyananda) – This book had a profound effect on my life and I recommend it to anyone who is interested in pursuing the path to success in both the outer world and the inner world.
The Power of Now  (Eckhart Tolle)

Marketing

The truth about creating brands people love (Brian D Till / Donna Heckler) – a simple book that explains truths about brand building
The Brand Gap - A very nice book on branding
