Life is a Daring Adventure!
“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing”. This quote from Helen Keller often reminds me of the undefeatable spirit of an entrepreneur.
One of the important qualities that a CEO should cultivate is patience. It takes time for your efforts to pay off. For many a situation, there are no quick fixes except perseverance and hard work. Losing your cool at any stage, and ever so often at the threshold of victory, could see years of effort going right down the drain.
Patience does not mean inaction. Problems often call for spirited and responsible action. A leader is required to respond to situations, not merely react to the curve balls that life throws at us. In this sense, Responsibility is nothing but our cultivated ability to respond spontaneously to problems aka opportunities.
It requires courage to keep believing in your dream when things go wrong - and that is exactly the time you need to persevere with faith in your dreams. Every problem presents a solution waiting to be discovered. And almost always the solution lies buried within the problem itself. Welcome the pressure and keep going. Three months of running a business (or even atempting to set up one) can end up teaching you as much (or more) than you can learn in years at a business school.
As Henry Kissinger once said, “a Diamond is just a chunk of coal that made good under pressure!”

Actually I feel kind of understand but still sometime when I go through it is very difficult to face it. Hope I remember this msg all the time. Thanks.
all the very best in your ventures!
Remembering how important it is to be patient when we encounter problems would really help us tide over obstacles with grace and also help see the solution hidden within. Nice insight, Raj!
Awesome pic. Patience and perseverence is what gets through in many such situations business or personal lives or for that matter spiritual life. Buddha had to wait decades under the tree to get the realization that enlightenment is not found under the tree. Every problem brings set of opportunities an entrepreneur has an insight along with patience but many a people fail because they cannot weather the storm of hardships.

Very inspirational. An apt insight at the right moment for my family and I. Thank you so much !
Along with patience , responsibility and courage a willingness to be surprised is an essential part of the mix….sometimes when you believe the beans didn’t sprout but leave the seeds alone just to see what happens you end up with orchids.Be patient be willing to be surprised…
Yes true that life is an adventure but it’s in western culture where an individual is an individual.
Look at Indian culture. Life is far more then just an individual adventure.
I think that the blog post here makes no reference to whether it is individual or group. What is said here is apt, whether we are working in a team or on an individual project.
Thank you for sharing. It is a very nice article to read.
